Tips for Buying Colorado...
Hundreds of products are made here in Colorado and are what we consider "real
Colorado"…like buffalo snack sticks, white chocolate Colorado Columbines, and
Colorado snow cherries (tart cherries grown on Colorado’s western slope,
naturally dried and then drizzled with vanilla crème so the cherries look like
they are peaking out of the snow).
Many products are made here, but aren’t necessarily indigenous to Colorado…like
the freshly baked Boulder potato chips, or the fine jellies, sauces, and
dressings made from the wines of Colorado’s vineyards.
Still other products are grown or made elsewhere, but are "spruced up" in
Colorado with a Colorado kind of flare…like jumbo green olives stuffed with
jalapenos or h-h-hot habanero spiced pistachios.
And some products simply carry Colorado labeling. They are great products too,
